Oh man ... :sick2: ... I don't know if I like that ... overly complicated IMHO, and the tint of the LuxIII was quite fine for almost all LEDs, so I guess this will just be a hassle. At least to me.

Hola Rudi, I know it works :), but I asked if someone else can host it too, so the burden of distributing it does not fall only in my poor server :D

I welcome the new binning scheme, as most discriminating Luxeon hobbyists probably will. More than once I've received Luxeons from a given bin and found them to be not quite what I had hoped in terms of tint.

The new scheme will definitely let us choose our favored tints more relibably, but will probably create more headaches for those that sell lights and LEDs to this persnickety crowd on CPF.

For me, it is not much change. I liked before the WO and XO bins, and these are still called the same in the new format.

I wonder if this means that LL will actually make it easier to buy color tint LEDs ?

Is this like the State Lotto's where they add more numbers to lessen your chances of getting a winner. The Luxeon lotto just got more complicated.

Pablo,

Thanks for the info.

Printed it off - for ease of reference.

I take it that the Vf structure is to remain the same as before

Tim.
