i have a couple of r-cr2 batteries that came with the raw, but i don't know if they are protected or unprotected. im guessing that they are protected, but you never know... any help? thanks

Most common variants:
UNPROTECTED: Blue body marked "14270", mAh rating varies.
PROTECTED: Black body with "AW" (the battery supplier) on a silver label, marked "IC Protection Built In".
The Nano charger that comes with the Raw kit handles both kinds, and also includes an automatic shut-off if you accidentally put in a battery backwards. (Whoops!) See the manual for more details.

ok great. thanks for the info. i have an older one so ill take a look and see what batteries i have.
