I've been having an unusual amount of trouble trying to locate a particular power MOSFET. I've tried Digi-Key, Newark, Allied Electronics, Future Electronics, Jameco and Mouser - all of my usual suppliers. Is there another electronics parts supplier that stocks transistors in depth?

BTW it's a 2SK2850.

chopper for a smps?
i order fuji stuff often for motor drives but be warned their stuff is expen$ive.
take the specs and call/email steve k8ud at http://www.ceitron.com/
bet there is an easy cross for it.

Thanks Snakebite. Nope, not for a chopper circuit; this is an output transistor from a power supply for a commercial device. The supply puts out 3.3v at 30 amps and that transistor normally runs pretty warm.

I'll check out ceitron. Thanks for the tip!
