Nite-Ize Bi-Pin Adaptors

Nite-Ize sells adaptors to fit the TerraLux LED bi-pin modules so they can be used in PR-base socket lights - can they be used with the other various high-powered incandescent bi-pin bulbs as well?

I doubt they would handle the power since the inside of the socket is plastic, not to mention whatever electrical components are inside. But even apart from this, the pin size on the hotwire bulbs is much bigger than on the Terralux bulbs. And the spacing between the the pin holes on the adapter is much narrower than on the hotwire bulbs. If you want the proper adapter, here's one meant for the purpose:
