I just got my L4 in the mail, love it, and am looking forward to different heads compatible with it. How is the KL1 for throw? The KL4 seems great for wide and bright, but what about something tightly focused and bright? Is the KL1 what I should look at? I'd like if possible to stay LED to avoid bulbs, but if I need to I would consider e-series head/lamps. Thoughts? Thanks!

Yep, the KL1 is both tighly focused and bright. It throws well, too, but I haven't had the chance to really test it out yet. The F04 beamshaper is a must-have if you'll ever use the light up close; otherwise it's too bright.
