One of my most used EDC lights, my iLUMBEAM Ulteon died today.:awman: It was a true 3 watt single CR123 thrower! a real bargin and I paid more than the group CPF buy. This light outguns a Q3. sadly it gave out today.I'll let Jer know. I got about 4 months of daily hi powered service.

the only good news here is that this gives me the excuse I needed to get a new CR123 thrower. I am thinking FENIX P1, it will be my third FENIX.
I think it will even outshine my iLUMABEAM ULTEON.

for $50 -$100 does anyone out there have any suggestions for the best CR123 or other small cell sized pocket rocket LED ?

How is it DOA when it's 4 months old? Still premature, I'll grant, but hardly DOA.:huh2:

Wow! Thanks
I told Jer at Illumabeam about what happenned see what he said:
First one I heard. I suppose it could have been just a bad LED. In all the lights I have gotten in so far there have been no DOA's from the factory. This is unusual.

Just send it back – I'll send you out a new one and some batteries to cover the shipping expense.

Thanks for being such a good customer!

Totally Cool
this guy is cool so is his iLUMABEAM!:goodjob:
