removing the reflector on an arc aaa-p

how would you do this? say if i wanted to attemp to polish the reflector how would i take it apart?

The reflector is part of the head and can't be removed. To polish the reflector, protect the LED with a piece of drinking straw and carefully handpolish with Flitz or a simular metal polish. ;)

Just so you know, polishing the reflector will essentially be a cosmetic improvement for the ArcAAA with a 5mm LED. This is due to the beam pattern of the 5mm LED - very little light comes out the sides so you will not likely notice any beam improvement by doing teh polishing.

Flitz is safe for use on LED's domes & Luxeon optics.

This thread has instructions on how to open the head. I'd just polish without taking anything apart, though.
