Where does it say anything about 140+ lumens?

I am also looking forward to this release. If these K2s live up to Lumileds' claims, it will be the best buy in solid state lighting. You'll have an extremely bright LED with a huge reflector in a good quality flashlight with great runtime, and awesome throw -for $25 (if you already have a MagLite)!

If I am not wrong,

some dude here has them already

some 1 mentioned to me that the Luxeon led bulbs has the following problems:

"it's well-known it has brightness degrading problem after sometime (not enough heat-sink)"

Check the shipping! I can't remember if it was these people, but someone was charging ~ $11 for small items a short time ago.
