incredimail problem.

I have been using incredimail for a few years, no problem.

even thought it is set to check my e-mails every 5 mins, it just sits their like and idiot.

the icon is on the task bar.

I have double checked the settings, I have unistalled and re-installed it, i have repaired it, I have deleted the directory in program files.

if i right click on the orange letter icon, and read mail it works fine.

but it will not check automatically.

does anyone know where the settings ini are kept.

Can you "manually" check mail and it works?

What BUILD of Incredimail do you have?

Do you have any anti-virus/anti-spyware/firewall software that you've recently installed or modified that could be blocking the automatic checking?

You might also go to www.trendmicro.com and run their free online antivirus program just as a precaution. It most likely has nothing to do with a virus but just as a check.

I can manually check Ok.

just right click on the orange envelope and read-mail.

I have the latest version of incredimail.

I am using AVGfree, lastest virus pattern, and have scanned no problem.

It just will not automaticaly check the emails.

My wife finally gave up on using IncrediMail - too many bugs. Nice, but too many bugs. Ours froze while sending/receiving.
