Hi,

Do anyone know how many mA's current provide to Nichia LED on ARC AAA Standard and Premium?

Nichia 500CS "T" is 11,000mcd-15,500mcd at 20mA and
Nichia 500CS "U" is 15,500mcd -22,000mcd at 20mA.

I do not know much about how to calculate mcd to Lumen, but rgarding result of web calculater of mcd to Lumen, 5.5Lumen rating on ARC AAA Premium seems LED is over driven.

Sorry for my inaccurate English... I hope you could understand my question...

Thanks,

According to this post by Peter Gransee, the LED is being driven at about 45mA on a fresh cell, then dropping over time (as it isn't fully current regulated).

In general, you can't directly calculate mcd from lumen or vice versa. According to the LED Museums ARC review, it may be possible to assume that current ARC AAA premium models achieve about 50,000 mcd, though.
