I have an L2P head on an L1P body, which is an excellent light but the single AA doesn't put the electronics into regulation.
If the AA battery were to be replaced with a 14500 Li-Ion cell
Edited: Hendo pointed to the answer, which we'd lost track of (son and I use same handle).
