I just finished modding two more of these for sale (new in box including spare tailcap boot, o-rings, lanyard). Uses F4FR red Lux III and 6.6ohm resistor in tailcap for low beam. I estimate over 20 hours on low on 2000mAH NiMH. Runs great on "dead" alkalines 
This tailcap also works great with the stock L1P and L2P white.
