Any suggestions?

Also am gonna try boring it out some but don't have a lathe, any ideas?

Webley,

Was it a mag c or d? How about trying to take out the retaining ring with a screwdriver, and slid it up the tube?

Good luck?

Make sure the allen screw is fully retracted and that the bushbutton is all the way in. These are the only things I have had hang up the switch when reinstalling. The shaft on the pushbutton can extend itself if you don't have it pointing up when you insert the switch assembly back in.

I have read other posts where people mention using a brake hone in a drill to bore out the body without a lathe.

I got finally.
Seems it all needs to fit just so.
didn't help that the switch button fell out/apart when turned upside down.
Guess i just had to get the components put together properly.
