ROP story

I was showing my friend how bright the ROP is (by shining on the floor) when someone at a high floor threw an egg at us. Those around us told us that this has been going on for months. We can only cast our eyes upward warily.
A head appeared and he threw something down again. My friend snatched the ROP and beamed it at the perp who is 8 floors away. With the description he gave, the LEOs soon caught the culprit (a 10 year old boy) who was given a warning.

Great to hear these stories about how the ROP made a difference

It sounds similar to the Surefire M6 story where the security guard had to identify which apartment held perps throwing BOTTLES :huh: down. Like you he didn't take matters into his own hands, just used the light to identify the people and the apartment involved, inform law enforcement and let them resolve the matter.
