To clarify, do NOT use the 3.7V R123A rechargables. You'll probably fry it.

I wonder if a 17670 or 14760 would work though. I'd guess that it'd work (assuming it fit), but at a lower brightness, since going by the runtime graph it doesn't look completely regulated with a boost circuit.

Actually I don't know if it will do any damage, that's why I just left that part out. I only tried 3V R123s in it.
