In addition to a ROP mod, what should a person do with a 4D Maglite?

There's a current thread going where the issue of overdriving bulbs in a 2D or 3C is covered, using 123cells. I pose this question to the light society at large:
If a person owns a 4D Mag, bone stock, which bulb is recommended and what would be the number of 123 cells to overdrive the bulb sufficiently to cause improvement worthwhile?
