Where to get an RGB emitter

I'm trying to find an RGB power LED for a flashlight mod. All I've been able to find is a Prolight 3 watt unit on ebay. The ebay seller doesn't seem very reputable, they don't show pictures of the device, just vague diagrams and they didn't reply to my questions.

Does luxeon make an RGB emitter or can someone recommend a clone.

ten dollars, one watt. Beware, they have a common
positive and you have to switch it on the negative side.
There are also RGB superflux LEDs around if you want smaller.

i've got the new edison led @ home

I had 10 of them, i've sold already 9 of them. 1 have 1 left, which i have used for testing. Want to buy it?

This led is not suitable for lenses.

Ken, from that site you linked to, it looks like I'd have to buy 10 at $10 each which is too many. It also seems underpowered at 18 lumens among the 3 colors. The prolight claims to be 77. For both the one you linked to and the prolight, there's no info on the needed heatsinking which is something else I don't know about.

Markm, I'm not familiar with the edison, but is that a cluster of 5mm LEDs in a standard lightbulb screw base? I'm looking for something to go inside a mag 3D.

SSC has a new 6-pin RGB power LED that has very nice figures;

Since it is a 6-pin LED it is easyer to drive the colour changing.

the edison is better.

bleu = 12 lumen for edison and 9 for ssc

edison is lambertain.

Yes, but you have to think about the White balance, that is more important than the brightness of each colour.
