I'm surprised nobody has noticed this yet. For those who got the L1T take a look at the instructions on the back of the package. It makes reference to the L1S model which is basically an L1P with the two stage switch of the L1T. This might be a good alternative for those who don't wish to play the luxeon lottery with the 3w T-bin Lumileds LED. The 1w R-bins seem more likely to have a better tint.

huh. Typically the lux3 have less dramatic tints than the 1w's. But the L1T likely isn't running the lux3 at the 700ma rated spec, so the tint would be more pronounced. Probably less tint shift in the L2T.

lowbat - I noticed that also. I wonder if 4sevens could get some and how much they would be? Interesting that they are rated with the same lumen output except that the 1W has a longer run time on low.
