I'm sure I'm not the only person who has tried replacing the L1T (L2T too I guess) tail switch with a modded 2 level switch, and noticed that it doen't work as expected. The modded switch just turns the torch on/off, regardless of what level the bezel is set to.
Anyone know why? It seems as though the reduced voltage with the resistor inline is enough to prevent the L1T head firing up at all.
I was really keen to have a 4 level fenix, with a low mode that was actually low!
