I have several house use lights I might chage over depening on the wattage.

I believe that it is considered a 1/2 watt. I bought one to try in my daughters' 2D Mag and it is just as bright as a 2D Mag incandescent except whiter (blue-white). I plan on getting 2 more for my boys flashlight. They have alot longer run time than the incandescent does. Here is an excellent thread on this bulb.

I think it`s more like a 1/3 of a watt.

I already have 3 from lighthound and have another 4 on order.

the only problem is the description on lighthound as "pure white".

is simply not true, it`s slightly blue under normal lights.

but when it`s you only light source it looks alot whiter.

at $8.99 delivered anywhere in the world, get them while you can.
