I recentely went to fry's in Anaheim CA. They were selling 2d and 3d cell maggies. For 29.99 with a 3watt Luxeon. Well ok!

I just picked one up tonight. They had a display by the registers, so I went back to the flashlight section to see if they had any minimags and they didn't.
So I went with the 2D. They had silver or black only (went with black)
I must say I'm impressed with the amount of throw. Alot better than the incan versions. You still get a large black spot when you twist for flood, but the spill on throw is suitable enough for walking/navigating. A bit bluish too but definitely usable.
For 33 bucks, I'm happy with it.
Oh, also has a regular krypton bulb in the spare holder.
