I have an L1P and an L2P--both with a blue tint. I had an L1P with a greenish tint but that was too annoying so I gave that one away.
Now I just got the L2T and it's the whitest of the bunch. If it has a color tint, I can't see it. It is slightly brighter than the L2P but not by much.
Maybe if Quickbeam had done his review with the L2T I just purchased, he would have given it 5 stars without hesitation. I guess I just got lucky in the luxeon lottery this time. Looks like I'm getting rid of the L2p now. I didn't find the slight blue tint objectionable at all until I got the pure white L2T! Funny how that works.
The L2T will work for me until they come out with the 5W version.
