SF G2 & water resistance after replace len

There are several threads on this forum about replacing the stock len of a SF G2 with UCL. I had replaced the len on 4 G2 and also add a 2nd O ring to the tailcap of each G2. A coat of Nyogel is also applied to the O ring and treads of the bezel and tailcap.

The retaining ring pressing on the UCL which in turn press on the flat O ring, does not inspire my confidence in it ability to keep water out.

I had though of applying some Nyogel between the flat O ring and UCL or on the thread of retaining ring. But worry that heat from the lamp may cause the Nyogel to run and smear the underside of the UCL.

Does anyone have any suggestion to better seal this portion of the light ? Thanks.

use those o ring lube instead of nyogel?

Isn't Nyogel a type / brand of O ring lube ?

Any ideas to enhance the water resistance of this portion of the light ? Thanks.
