Suits him well! I was scammed (can you use it as a verb?) on $1500 for a ThinkPad T42 on eBay which I never got. I can think of less nice things than this I could do with that guy but this was fun too.

Great story. The seller deserves all the humiliation in the world for what he did. The buyer was a little silly though for purchasing a big ticket item from a guy with 0 feedback. That's something I never would have done.

What a jacka$$! I hope his girlfriend comes across that page some day soon. I wonder if the buyer will ever get his money back?

I only got fleeced for $20 so Ebay and Paypal won't make good on it either. I expect someday to get ripped off soundly due to the law of averages. I shall keep this in mind.

The guy had scanned his identity cards, passport, bank records, photographs of him using the computer he just sold, his school records, email accounts and passwords for same, his mom's bank records, etc.... all onto the dead laptop's hard drive. Pretty much dead to rights.

I've just spent an hour at that blog, reading the comments people have left (and the postings by Amir and his friends) and it's even more entertaining than CPF!!!

No joke! I'm going to log back in later, just so i can finish reading.

I wish I had been able to do this when I was scammed $9000 from a couple of eBay scam artists.

Ha ha ha! I love stories with a happy endings! He got what he deserved! He should be thankful the other guy didn't send his information to Lagos, Africa, those guys are far worse at screwing people over.

It gets better. The scammer who sold the laptop is complaining now:

Mr Tofangsazan told reporters: "I am shaking all over and I fear my reputation is going to be ruined.

"They have put photos of me and my family on there after hacking into my hotmail account, as well as publishing personal details and bits of my CV.

"There are photographs on there from the September 11 bombings, porn pictures and pictures of women's legs which have absolutely nothing to do with me. Some people even think I took them.

"The laptop wasn't even broken. It was in working order. The last few days have been a nightmare, some of my friends have seen it and my father is very angry."

Did he ever think that if he didn't rip people off on eBay he wouldn't have to worry about his reputation being ruined? I'll bet his father is real happy about the gay porn. He's lucky he lives in the UK or he would be in deep doodoo.

He should be glad he lives in the UK. If he lived in the US, those pictures of the Sept 11 bombings would have landed him straight into a detention center. But I guess that would give him an excuse to get out of the closet about being gay, then. LOL
