You know how picky I am about emitters. I've hand tested each emitter to make sure they meet my maximum requirements.

The price for the Tower Modules is $165 which includes the Global express with tracking from Japan.

What sort of voltage input range do they cover? Is it the same as the other Arcmania X bin towers?
thanks, Ian

Thanks,

No. this is not the same type of module that the maxlite TTM will require. this is a 5w LED where as the Maxlite TTM will be using a 1w.

The pedestal might be the same, but the TTM would require an S bin emitter to operate off of AA battery.

Re: Back by popular demand, SF TH modules.

Can someone explain the installation/body options for this module?

I'd like to screw a KT4 Turbohead onto my L6 body, but I don't think there is a rechargeable option for this combo.

I think the ideal would be a 2x18650 body on one of the SF turbo heads, but I can't find that type of option. Or could I use a KT4 Turbohead on an M4 body and use 2x168S Pilas. Where would I find an M4 body alone? I'd hate to have to buy a new M4 or M3T. Thanks --Josey

I will take one. :paypal: Thank you!
(If additional cost could make it a X-bin upgrade, please kindly info me; I'd be glad to do it :) )

This module will give you all kinds of rechargeable options, since they can take 2-4 li-on cells. Lotsa different combos to play with regarding the body.

Basically, you can run this as small as a KT on a 6P/Z2/C2 (2-cell turbohead setup) to a 4-cell (2 extenders added or M4). As far as I know, most SF original bodies can at most fit a 17mm diameter batt. You prob need some boring if you want to use 18mms.

A bored M4 will work for what you want; but I don't think I've seen the body sold alone. You can always do it the extender way; add a couple of extenders to a 2-cell light (use a detonator extender last if you want the combat grip thingie). You can prob bore them all to fit 18s too.

I love the 'shorty' setup, but 2 x 16340s lasts only about 30mins, which I've found insufficient for my needs, so I run it in 2 x 17500 setup using an A19 extender on my Z2. (This supposedly 'kills' my combat grip but it is still actually usable with better balance now that the rubber grip is more towards the middle of the body! :D )

2 x 17500s yields about an hour of eye-busting bright light. 1.5 hours would be ideal; but I'd have to chuck in one more extender to run 2 x 17670s. Getting a little long.

Add : pic from mobile phone (sorry, no camera in hand :( )

Not the nicest of setups of course, but quite usable and 'balanced'.
