That is very beautiful. I am always afraid to spend that kind of money on small items. I would lose it, and it would be my luck some kid would find it and then throw it away when the battery died.

There is a fine line between being greedy and being able to justify this, isn't there?

On the other hand, any buyer should realize that there are only about 50 of these in existence, and only 20 were sold in the U.S.

Definitely a collector's item.

Here's a thread discussing some that were sold on e-Bay, one of which I snagged. Of course, it came with an extra converter, so I could justify the outrageous bid! :D

Well, it's time to hit the sack, but if this light is still here in the morning, it will be mine.

Now, how was that for restrained greed? :D

Let me translate:

A collector: A CPFer Flashaholic

Who has asked: Who E-mailed or PMed Uriah

To remain anonymous: Said to keep it quiet because the wife checks my posts and would have me by the hide, doing the dishes, sleeping on the couch, in the dog house, with no dinner if she knew I spent $500.00 on another light!!! :lolsign:

Thanks for looking: Nothing to see here, bugger off! :sold:

Re: Katokichi Ichishiki Splash SOLD pending funds

I think we all speak from experience on this, well those of us who have an significant other anyways....

I had a Uniden 996T scanner show up today, and have a Mac's Torch and a X-bin HD45 due to show up Weds, followed up by a Exolion Goldserve Sandwich at the latter end of the week. I am supposed to be conserving for the house we are building. I dont know how long I can keep giving the same exuse saying its a trade! :lolsign:

Courtney is actually good about it, doesnt give me a hard time at all besides the usual, "Another light/scanner? You dork!"

I am slowing down ALOT now for at least a couple weeks, 10-14 days anyway. I am going to do my best to hold off on any lights until the much anticipated McLux Ti PD.....
