Fenix L2T head on a Fenix P1 body?

There is another thread discussing using an Fenix L1T head/clickie with a 123 body. Has anyone tried using an L2T head on a P1 body? If it worked it would be a two stage twisty, nice and bright with an R123. It would be like a poor mans FireFly III. Also if the P1 head worked on the L2T body you would have two operable flashlights. It would be a little pricey though... About $90 total.

Not possible, at least not without some major modifications. The head of the P1 threads into the body,while L series lights have the body thread into the head assembly. It would just be easier, and cheaper, to buy one of the next FF3's.

Thanks for the info. That's way to much work! I got in on the HDS Basic sale anyhow so the question was mostly academic for me anyway.

I don't have a HDS light, but from all I've read I think you are getting a much better light.
