Surefire E2L possibilities

Hey sphinx, welcome to CPF.
I started off with a Surefire E2L as well! Its an awesome regular use light.
You could start off by getting an E2E bezel and lamp assembly which outputs significantly more light than the KL1 head that is currently attached to it.
You could also try using a rechargeable 17670 rechargeable battery with it which will save you some money in the long run.
Beyond that you also have the option of a KL4 LED head from surefire which will give you a significant boost in output with reduced throw. The KL4 is a bright light!

I believe that the E2E bezel with the MN03 Lamp assembly would be the most cost effective upgrade. If you want to spend a bit more, you could go the KL4. I find that the incandescent MN03 is better outdoors however, while the LEDs are quite nice indoors.
