The 2D Tri-Lux is driving RV1H's at 900mA each and the Quad is driving UWOJ's at 500mA each. The current draw for the cells for the 2D Tri-lux is 4.2 amps for a runtime of over 2 hours down only 15% in brightness. The current draw from the cell for the 1D is 7.1 amps for a runtime of 1 hour and 15 minutes and down only 10% in brightness. All cells being used are NIMH and rated at 10 amp hours.

WOW! 91 views and not one ataboy, or that's nice or who cares? So what gives? IMO, the 1D cell mod is ground breaking. Makes me think....

Nice job on the beamshots, very impressive from the 1D. I love the 1D and smaller form factor, will take those over the the 2D in a snap. I want one!

4x UWOJ @500mA : each Lux produces ~70 lumens. It does ~280 lumens total !
Excellent !

How about my 2D Tri-Lux UWOJ @~1000mA, Eric ?

Excellent news !
At wich current approximately will be my UWOJ's driven ?
~900, 950, 1000mA ?

Before shipping, is it possible to take some pictures of mine, and post it ?
Thanks.

Don't know much about these - they sound perfect! The 1D is a cut down? MM, can you make up one of these, regulated, with a low power switch, either pulsed lower, or capable of switching between 1, 2, 3 or 4 leds? Cost? Make me one?? 2? :grin2:
Cheers

My flagship mod will be the 1D Mag (A simple cut-down 2D from the bottom of the battery tube). It will ultimately be PIC contolled. I have a working proto of the PIC version, but production for sales will be awhile (maybe a month or less I hope). With a PIC, the 1D will be $175. The reflectors are IMS 20mm and will be fully intact (not cut down by 1/16th of an inch like my proto-versions I have Pics of in my B/S/T post).

That 1D is the one that I've already put in for and these photo's just let me know I've made the right choice. Great work MM.

Looks like the MM modded Mag smoked the new led mag hands down
Eric, how bright will your lights be running on primary cells?
