Anybody have any personal experience with the Pelican headlamp models 2660 or 2640? These are hybrid LED/incan models. One runs on AAs, the other on AAs or Ds.
Anyone here ever use the Pelican 2668 detachable 4D battery pack? I was thrilled to find this online -- looks like exactly what I've been looking for. Saves me having to build my own, and is very reasonably priced. Can't find a detailed description, but it looks to be waterproof or at least water resistant.
Or, anybody know where any reviews on these models can be found? Any thoughts on Pelican in general? I think they have a fairly good reputation for quality products.
I stumbled across these while searching for an online source for the Streamlight ProPolymer Lux 4AA. I've been searching for the perfect headlamp and battery pack for a while now, and think that these might just fit the bill.
