i just got by accident while looking around for info on z-leds and the new citizen led supposedly coming out soon.

......sort of.....just looking around at manufacturers of LEDs (there are a lot making or developing >1W types) other than Lumileds.....the general consensus here seems to be that K2's aren't quite yet everything expected of them.....hopefully they will progressively get better.
