There is a new color bin, U0, which is a good halfway from X0 to the coolest Warm White color (4500-5000K). This sounds rather promising, and they are now available from Future. I'm wondering if anyone here has seen a "U0" color bin LED, and if so was it a good or bad sort of color. I've only seen "YA", "Y0", "X0", and "W0" bins in the past, and never a "V0"; so I don't know what "U0" would look like.
I'm also curious if U0 is the result of an intentional strategy to create warmer colors in the standard Luxeon III line, or if it is just a one-time anomaly. Anyone know how "U0" came about?
