Hey All,
Up for sale is an Original New in Package Silver Turbomate created by Lambda. I don't believe he has them for sale anymore...at least I can't find them on his website.
His very popular (for good reason!) SMJLED is housed in a Streamlight Key-mate, in which he put a new reflector. The new reflector works very well to focus the light and gives a nice concentrated spot with good spill. The light runs on 4 button top cells.
Included with the light is a lanyard and 2 extra "loads" of batteries (total 12 button top cells, one "load" already installed)
I've been using one on my keychain for about 6 months now...really great for what it is. It's not an eyeball scorcher by any means, but that's not the point of the SMJLED anyway. Still on the original batteries.
My light meter rates my KevinL "fauxton" keychain lights at ~70 lux @ 1 meter. The Turbomate puts ~225 lux @ 1 meter.
