Is the KL3 a "flood" type beam or more like the KL1?

Hmmm,I don't have a KL1 but the KL3(Gen2) i have is All Throw/Beam and no spill..if you want some flood for close up work you can slap on a F70 or FM 64 Beamshaper...I use the F70, its much smaller & better looking IMHO
