Hi all!

I was looking at the review of the peak pacific at flashlight reviews

http://www.flashlightreviews.com/reviews/peakled_pacific.htm

And apparently the regulated runtime with 1 AA energizer lithium is over 12 hours!!! :eek:oo: :wow: :bow:Is that a typo?

Can someone confirm this kind of performance? How bright is it compared to say a Fenix L1P? How is the tint? Is it easy to swap the led?

Do you have any comparison pics with another well known light? like a fenix, KL1 etc.?

Who has the best price for it?

Thanks!

Not a typo. The LED is driven at about 100mA. Its not as bright as many other lights, but it is a useful amount of light.

There is much more info available in the Peak section on CPF.

Vs. the L1P, the Pacific can't compare when it comes to brightness. Just compare the numbers to the L1P review on flashlightreviews. Obviously the trade-off is a much shorter runtime for the L1P. I have the Pacific and it puts out a very useful amount of light. Its tint is also pretty good even if it isn't the whitest of my lights (I think the whitest tints of any of my lights would probably be my P1 & Elektro Lumens XM-3). Still the Pacific, especially with the AA body or a lithium AAA battery makes a great EDC.
