They didn't have any in stock at the local Frys, but outpost.com (Fry's online) has them at that price (shipping is a bit pricy, though -- about $10 for 12 packs). Thanks for alerting me to this deal -- I just developed a need for a bunch of AAA NiMHs, and at half the price of the 1000mAh model I can live with slightly less capacity in my application.
