How to open an L2P to replace the emitter?

Send it to Miller Mods along with $5. I'd check first and see if he has time to do it. You won't regret not doing it yourself. He uses a ground down socket to get a good bite on the ring.

Im going to send mine to Millermods for luxeon swap, His prices are very reasonable. And I think he has the knowledge and equipment to do it right. Why risk it?
