I have a Photon 2, I've had it a few years and it looks like its quite dim now (I don't really use it much).

Its now time to get replace the batteries. I understand that it takes 2 CR2016's. i read somewhere about using 1 CR2032. Is this correct? What are the advantages and disadvantages. I've just got an Arc AAA-P :) so the Photon 2 will be used even less

use 1CR2032, upgrade your LED with the new CS Led. You are good to go for atleast 10 hours in case of emergency...

1CR2032 has much more capacity, the Photon will be dim, but will last Muchhhhhhh looooonnnngggggger
