however, i must note that the arc clone i modded with a real smjled is warmer in tint than the clone i modded w/ the wahwang led tritium has. i modded two other minimags w/ the wahwangs and they have a coolish tint too. output looks the same though.

You are correct mine are a bit cooler. If I remember correctly I have received MJ's and SMJ's that varied in tint as well. It changes from production batch to production batch.

I haven't tried the Wah Wang LED's I got yet, but I can mention that the uncut SMJLED's that I have are a very cool (blue) tint.
