Happy summer solstice (yesterday)

Summer actually started yesterday, but I forgot to post a thread on CPF about it.
Just think, now the days are getting shorter, and in a few short months, we'll have more darkness to use our flashlights in. :thumbsup:

Thanks Craig, I missed this one. Since I check CPF more than the newspaper I appreciate posts like this that keep me in touch with the world outside the computer.

Yup, carrying a flashlight around just isn't as fun these days, but we can look forward to brighter (err, I mean dimmer) times in a few months.

Ok, how late does it stay light out where you live? I recall living in Vermont where this time of year the street light near my parent's house would not come on until just a few minutes before nine as opposed to shortly after four around Christmas time. Lots of twilight this time of year as well. It's a very good time of year and I'm willing to save on flashlight battery costs.

Flashlight hours are getting longer up here, and shorter down under.

If that troubles any flashlight freaks, you can do what the birds do. Migrate with the seasons.
