Been reading and would like to take the plunge soon.
From what I have read, you can take a basic light, like those from the chineese goods quality website and swap it out. Maybe use a different resistor to use ion vs regular batteries.
Is that true? Can you add electronics to extend the run time like a pull or push circuit to allow you to use more than necessary power?
I think it would be cool to put a 5 watt blue led in one of those 2 aa cell led lights on that chineese website and also a red one.
