All in all Id say it was very sucessful! It now has a huge flood, nice and even, well dipersed beam, much more useful.I dont know the battery life yet.I am running 4.5 v instead of the reccommended 3 v,but these coin cell have such limited power it seem ok,,,,,so far.The pic does not capture how much wider it is.A lot of lessons learned in doing this little project, optics, centering led importence, soldering pratice. It gives a whole new level of respect for the guys here who do make the incredible lights we use.A big thanks to all the real modders and creators out there.!
