Lots of thunderstorms here in the central Piedmont lately, lights out a half-dozen times in the last two months. Varying durations, 2 hrs to 10 I'd say. Always at night. Go figure......
Even the faint glow of the solar lawn lights are welcome than, rural location combined with overcast eliminates ambient light pretty completely.

The PT Attitude was a 1st-on staple, but it's "in the shop" at the moment.

PT Blast and a TwinTask get grabbed pretty quick, nice to clip the Blast on my cap.

All things considered, there is an old black Garrity 3-D rubber-covered light here that has given/is giving plain-vanilla good service for a good long time. The kind with the push button switch in the base. Had it so long I don't even remember when/where I got it. Great fishing light........

Coleman double mantle and single mantle in the wings, haven't been needed yet. Extra heat not welcome now!

Theres some other lights around, Mags and McLights mostly, but the above are my personal go-to's, every time.....
