I always keep this light in the lower pocket of my cargo pants. This time I forgot it was in there and the light went through the wash.

I guess this light really is waterproof. When I took it apart, there wasn't any water inside of it at all.

Just wanted to let everyone know that it's okay to put your Fenix through the wash. Haven't tested it in the dryer on high heat, yet! I'll be testing that next! :)

I've got to get one those, how does it compare to the QIII. By the way, were you using Tide or Cheer?

Have you checked if the led moved a bit? with all the centrifugal force of the dry cycle It may have moved a bit, Is the content of the cell affected by centrifugal force, do the electrolyte settle on one side of the cell?

My led had a slight green tint to it before it went in the wash. When it came out it was pure white. :lolsign:
