Got an M4 but it can get bulky at times. Im thinking getting an M3 cb and
using a P91 + 2x 17670s as an option..... opinions please:candle:

I don't know about the rechargeable options, but with the M3 you will use either the MN10 or MN11 lamp assembly. I have an M3 bezel for my M3T and it does make a more compact carry and is a very excellent light on its own merits.

the mn16 is designed for the m3t turbo head, it has the wrong length for the regular m3 head
as flash gordon suggested, you have to use the mn10 or mn11 lamps

I hate to rain on your parade even further, but 2 X 17670 is not an option for a 3 X CR123A light either. Remember that a 17670 is twice as long as a CR123A. You would use 2 X 17500 instead.

My current compact version of the M4 is an L5 with Turbohead, MN16 (225 lumens, same as M4 low beam) and two RCR123s for power. Great working combo, though some on the forum are leery about pulling that kinda power from RCR123s.

The 17670s lists 1600mAh,each
two of them[ I just found out with my 9p+ 1 detonator ext ] could hardly make a p91 shine bright. now would the mn16 be acceptably bright with tis combo?:ohgeez:

I think he wants to use the M3 bulb and bezel on an M4 host.

I use this setup, and it's one of my favourites. A touch long, but very narrow and compact compared to the stock M4.
