Quick Review: Silviron\'s 4AA Arc LS Headlamp Mod
This is the first night I got to test Silviron's 4AA Rayovac 'Adult' Headlamp Mod for the Arc LS outside. It arrived after last week's trash day, so I had to wait.
First off, the battery pack is rewired to a series/parallel configuration, to allow 2AA or 4AA at 3 volts. The 4AA doubles runtime.
It is as comfortable to wear, as a Petzl Zoom (which I have). I waited until most of the lights in the neighborhood were turned off for the night.
It really lights up the area. Being able to adjust the angle of the headlamp is always a nice feature.
I can imagine how this would be underground or in a forest.
Solidly constructed and worth getting if you are looking for a headlamp mod for you Arc LS.
