Man, mail takes along time from Aulstralia!
I have to say I like the light. It is tiny, only 3" or so long, with a 30 lumen bulb. I also have a spare bulb assembly with it which is good because they are hard to find.
The reflector is not as much OP as my A2 or 9P or 6P, prob because this was made earlier. As a result, the beam isn't quite artifact free. Also curious to me, the bulb assemblys have "made in mexico" stamped on them.....a dark chapter of SF's past?
Another curious point, from the manual: "Use only Duracell DL123A batteries in order to achieve the high output expected from a Surefire flashlight." Guess I'll have to toss my SF123A's and get some duracells, huh?
The anodizing looks good, a few small nicks but not bad for a light of this age.
I'll post some pictures and beamshots later tonight after it gets dark.
