Older Surefire L1 - Regulated on Low or Not?

I have read a bunch of threads on the L1 in the archive and looked at old Surefire catalogs. It's not clear to me whether the 2004 and earlier L1s are regulated on low and high, or just high? It appears that the current L1 is regulated on both low and high. There is a thread comparing runtimes on the earlier and later L1s that reports longer runtimes on low for the earlier L1s, which might make sense if the earlier model wasn't regulated on low. Does anyone know whether the 2004/earlier L1s are or aren't regulated? Thanks!

No L1 (either the old or the current bezel) is regulated on low. The body is the same.
