Hello again fellow CPFers.

My 7w torch seems to be acting up on me lately, the light is bright most of the time but sometimes it just dims down. I was thinking of adding a voltage regulater to solve this problem. Does any one know if this is possible and what parts to use¿

No problem.

It sounds like your problem may be as simple as dirty contacts. Have you tried cleaning all the contact points (top positive contact, tailcap post, tailcap to body threads)? I suppose it could also be a poor contact somewhere in the switch itself.

You'll see a couple of different regulated mods for the 7W SuperBright (the 'Golston', the '3.6V x 2', etc.) over in the thread. If you decide to mod yours please post your experiences.
