Thanks for clearing that up. I'll admit I was curious about this myself. I am sure there must be a perfectly reasonable explanation for building a 6AA ROP in a 3D mag; was it intended to be convertable to another configuration?
You seem to be pretty familiar with CPF lingo and specialty parts, are you new to CPF or have you been here before?
